RCAP Education is an educational initiative for beginners to promote Robotics and AI through RoboCup Asia-Pacific (RCAP).

The following RCAP Education Leagues will be organized at RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2025 (RCAP 2025).

Participation and award certificates will be presented to teams taking part in the RCAP Education Program. Please note that trophies will not be awarded in this category.

RCAP
Soccer Entry

The RCAP Soccer Entry category is intended for students interested in learning the fundamentals of autonomous robotics. Teams are required to design, build, and program a fully autonomous mobile robot to compete in soccer matches against other teams.

Rescue Entry

In the RCAP Rescue Line Entry League, teams must design, build, and program a robot that can autonomously rescue victims in a hazardous area without any human assistance. The robot must safely pass through a door, enter and exit designated rooms, avoid obstacles, and locate and transport survivors to a safe zone.

In the RCAP Rescue Maze Entry League, teams create a robot that can navigate a maze autonomously to locate and rescue victims. The robot must detect and identify victims, avoid obstacles, and signal their locations to humans.

RCAP CoSpace Autonomous Driving FirstSteps

The RCAP CoSpace Autonomous Driving Challenge (ADC) – FirstSteps is an introductory league where students with little or no experience in robotics or coding learn to program autonomous vehicles to navigate through a smart city in a virtual environment.

The RCAP CoSpace Rescue Challenge – FirstSteps is an introductory league designed for students with no prior experience in robotics or coding. In this league, teams develop strategies for virtual autonomous robots to navigate, search, and collect various objects in simulated environments while learning basic search algorithms.
