The IEEE EMBS Student Chapter actively participated in Clubs/Chapters Day at Khalifa University, an annual event designed to introduce students to the diverse technical and professional clubs/chapters available on campus.
This initiative served as a platform to showcase the importance of biomedical engineering, promote collaboration, and encourage student involvement in research and innovation.
Key Objectives:
- Increase awareness of the EMBS Chapter and its role in improving biomedical engineering advancements.
- Engage students in discussions about emerging technologies in healthcare, AI-driven medical solutions, and biomechanics.
- Recruit new members by highlighting the benefits of participating in IEEE EMBS activities, including workshops, research opportunities, and industry connections.
Activities during the event:
- Stroop Color Word Task that measures mental stress.
- Detecting and printing the ECG signal (Pulse Rate).
- Arranging the brain layers in the correct order.
