About the Conference

The 3rd UAE Anatomy and Cellular Biology Conference will be the third instalment of the annual meeting of anatomists within the MENA region. For the last 2 years, the UAE has hosted similar anatomy conferences to inspire educators, researchers, and students to explore the latest research, expand their knowledge and skills, create valuable relationships, and discover advances in anatomy and future directions.

This conference invites anatomists, human biologists, and health professionals from all clinical fields to improve their knowledge and stay up to date with the developments in their respective fields.

Conference Topics

Highlight the recent advancements and cutting-edge research in clinical anatomy and cellular biology, especially in such allied disciplines as surgery, radiology, sports medicine, biomechanics, computer-assisted human identification, and AI-based digital pathology.

Investigate developmental anatomy and associated congenital anomalies at the cellular and molecular levels. Discuss current research trends in the field through the lens of high-throughput technologies.

Explore the intersection of histology, biology, and engineering to understand how tissues and organs can be engineered for transplantation and regenerative therapies. Expand on how precision medicine is being applied for targeted therapies.

Facilitate the exchange of exemplary teaching methods for anatomy and cell biology by integrating contemporary educational technologies and methodologies. Investigate the ethical considerations associated with the utilization of human and animal specimens in anatomical research. Scrutinize the ethical, legal, and social implications stemming from progress in anatomy, cell biology, and biotechnology. Additionally, examine the incorporation of technology to elevate anatomy education, encompassing virtual dissections and 3D models.

Highlight the historical and contemporary connections between art and life, such as medical illustration and anatomical art.
